LifeLock Launches Partnership with Leader in Peer-to-Peer Intelligence, Tiversa

Partnership to Develop Comprehensive Online Solutions
for LifeLock Members

TEMPE, AZ, May 04, 2009 - LifeLock, an industry leader in identity theft protection, has announced a partnership with Tiversa, the leader in Peer-to-Peer Intelligence Services. The partnership will serve as a cornerstone for LifeLock's upcoming service offerings that will further the organization's efforts to combat the crime to support those Americans concerned with the rising threats of identity theft.

"The issue of peer-to-peer information sharing goes further than just the personal information of consumers," said Todd Davis, LifeLock CEO. "While we see the information of consumers being lost because of these file-sharing programs, we have also been shocked to see the kind of information criminals have been able to take from the federal government, city governments and military agencies. This problem has big picture implications and Tiversa is the solution."

Tiversa's Peer-to-Peer Security and Intelligence Services provide real-time detection, identification and remediation of sensitive information being exposed globally on file-sharing networks. This enables organizations to quantify and mitigate risk across their Extended Enterprise, which includes suppliers, trusted partners/agents, customers and remote employees.

Tiversa has worked with some of the world's largest organizations and government agencies to mitigate the risks associated with the inadvertent sharing of sensitive, confidential and classified information on publicly available computer networks. Since September 2008, Tiversa has found a nearly 60 percent increase in the number of searches for personal information over Peer-to-Peer networks. The information being searched for includes tax returns, social security numbers, drivers license numbers and dates of birth.

"The risks associated with file-sharing networks are now becoming very clear to Fortune 500 enterprises, law enforcement and the U.S. government," said Robert Boback, Tiversa CEO. "However, despite the increased awareness, consumers are still at risk because of both the antiquated views on identity theft that still exist and the prevalence of the issue at hand. We have been working diligently to develop a solution that will protect consumers and are excited about our partnership with an industry leader like LifeLock. This service will not only help protect against future identity theft, but will help many victims close the loop on current fraud that they are experiencing."

LifeLock and Tiversa are set to launch before the end of June an industry-first P2P monitoring service that will add a comprehensive layer of protection safeguarding members from emerging identity theft threats.
